This page explains some useful tips to set up the game properly for Mudfish.

Mudfish is a service for networking acceleration and optimization so we don't support to break each service providers' Terms of Use.

== How to equip ==

 * At dashboard, click "Item -> Equip Items" menu.
 * Find a "League of Legends" item and equip. 

== How to configure the item ==

To change the configuration of the game item, please click the active game item at Dashboard.

  * At "Server Location", please set the game server location you're accessing.  This information is used to calculate the shortest / recommended nodes.

  * At "Nodes", you can use "Auto Selection" mode or specify a mudfish node you'd like to use.

== To connect Taiwan server ==

Taiwanese servers are region locked so you have to choose a node in Taiwan or Hong Kong except the following list Blocked

 * TW Asia (Taiwan - Google X)
 * TW Asia (Taiwan - !HostingInside 3)
 * TW Asia (Taiwan - !HostingInside 5)
 * TW Asia (Taiwan - !HostingInside 6)
 * TW Asia (Taiwan - !HostingInside 7)

It would okay to use TW Asia (Taiwan - !HostingInside 4) but can have little latency.

Or you can try to use TW Asia (Taiwan - Google x) as first node over [[https://mudfish.net/docs/en/vpn/references/howto_check_advanced_node_mode.html|Advanced mode]] and choose the other Taiwan node as second one

== Tips ==

 * Please try to bypass with [[https://www.softether.org/|SoftEther]] to sign in then terminate it before turn on Mudfish
 * Specify mudfish node you'd like to use rather than "Auto Selection" for picking a node. Please check [[https://mudfish.net/docs/en/faq/nodes.html|FAQ - Nodes]] link to know how to pick a better node.
 * Don't use TCP protocol for [[https://mudfish.net/docs/en/vpn/references/connection_protocols.html|Connection Protocols]] because it's UDP based game.
 * Don't use [[https://mudfish.net/docs/en/vpn/features/fastconnect_mode.html|FastConnect mode]].  It's not helpful at all.
